Sweet Peggy, part of Tikiri’s Bonikka line of ragdolls, has blond pigtails and wears a purple flowered dress. Bonikka means “doll” in Sinhala, the language of Sri Lanka, and this line was inspired by a 120-year-old family tradition of passing treasured dolls down from generation to generation. Peggy was ethically handmade in Sri Lanka.

Care: For light cleaning, wipe surface with soapy water and a damp cloth and allow to air dry.

Tikiri’s toys are produced from ethically sourced cotton and 100% natural rubber, which is nontoxic, BPA-free, phthalate-free, PVC-free, and biodegradable. Tikiri uses rubber that is sustainably harvested from the Hevea tree, primarily grown in Sri Lanka. By souring rubber and producing toys in Sri Lanka, Tikiri greatly minimizes its carbon footprint and environmental impact. Tikiri also cares deeply about treating its employees with fairness and respect. It is certified by the Sri Lankan initiative Garments without Guilt, ensuring that it promotes ethical working conditions. Tikiri was the 2020 winner of the Ethical Gift of the Year award.
